This academic year has seen the introduction of a New National Curriculum, although there are not many changes, it is quite challenging to ensure we meet all the Governments requirements while making sure we provide Rich engaging experiences for all our children. Staff are working tirelessly to ensure the opportunities that your children are given are exciting, relevant and support them in making good progress with their reading, writing and maths. The school learning environment is a part of this and if you walk round you will see environments that are colourful, original in which children have had a role in developing, for example ice caves in Year 1, a volcano and tornado in Year 5 and animal cages in Year 6!!!

As always we are busy planning visits and visitors to complement the childrens learning and value greatly families support with these.
